Being Prepared for Unexpected Emergencies

Life Happens - Are You Ready?

We've all seen emergencies in the news. From floods to temporary power outages; from home fires to tornadoes. And the vast majority of those affected, never really believed it could happen to them. Most aren't prepared.

You can be prepared to take care of yourself and those you love until the emergency is over or help arrives.

Emergencies come in all sizes.
So do our preparedness options!

We help you build your customized emergency defense step by step. Starting with the most common threats, you build your defense supplies to the level you are comfortable with. Some initial levels include Shelter-in-place, Evacuation, Get Home, Get-A-Way Auto Kit, and more.

Building your response
Start with a basic kit designed for everyday use. Then start adding as necessary. Each level adds to the foundation already established. There is no duplication as you add to your defense supplies. You receive only the additional items required for each step of preparedness.

Everyone is in a different situation.
Winter heat is covered by wood burning fireplaces, but what about those who don’t have a fireplace? Climate conditions in Florida and Southern California require different solutions than the Midwest. What about long-term food and water requirements? Personal skill levels can determine the solution level for different preparation areas – such as First Aid – basic or advanced?

Each preparedness solution includes only basic items with multiple add-on options.

The story behind our story

The Joseph Project is named after a well-known Biblical character whose wise preparation saved a civilization.

It’s a story that’s been told for centuries. A young man named Joseph rose to 2nd in command under the Egyptian Pharoah.  Joseph interpreted a puzzling dream of Pharaoh’s explaining its meaning: After seven good years –  Egpyt, (the bread basket of the known world), would experience seven years of famine.

Joseph believed that the dream and interpretation were given by God. He advised the Pharoah to store up provisions from bumper year crops for the next 7 years. As a result, Egypt, and all its territories were saved from starvation.

While we do not have divine insights, we follow Joseph’s example by offering people the opportunity to prepare now for unexpected emergencies to come.
